Scituate – Lobsters and a Lighthouse!

Visit this Coastal Gem Along Cape Cod Bay

Located just 30 miles south of Boston – Scituate is a cozy seaside community where lobster lovers can spend the day or a weekend!  As you drive (or walk) along Front Street,  you’ll notice lots of shops and boutiques with plenty of nautical places to explore.  See lobster boats bobbing up and down in the water and lobster traps piled high along the way.  With salty breezes coming in off the ocean, you’ll love what this Scituate has to offer.  Scenic vistas, beaches, fishing charters, historic inns and lots of local lobster!

For an amazing panoramic view of the ocean and Old Scituate Lighthouse in the distance, stop by the Lucky Finn Cafe on Front Street for a cup of coffee and a glimpse of artwork done by local artisans. Then, make your way over to Scituate Lobster Pound, grab a mouth watering lobster roll packed with locally caught meat and head on over to the Lighthouse for a picnic lunch.   Dine on the rocks overlooking the ocean or bring a blanket and sit right on the shore – so romantic!

Why we love it:   Scituate is scenic and delicious!   Worth the trip.
