Bob’s Clam Hut – Maine Comfort Food Ordered at a Window

Long Running Pit Stop for Fried Clams and Lobster Rolls

Established in 1956 on busy Route One long before that stretch became bustling and busy with Kittery’s outlet shops.  Bob’s has been locals’ golden fried standard for decades!  Now entering it’s 60th year, Bob’s is a favorite spot for locals and travelers alike.

Guests are quick to say “No trip to the area” is complete without a meal at Bob’s Clam Hut.  Bob’s is committed to serving traditional Maine fried seafood with straightforward simplicity.  They follow Bob’s original recipes, including famous tartar sauce.  Customer favorites include Bob’s New England Clam Chowder, Lobster Stew, Lobster Roll, traditional fried clams and the Lillian fried clams.

Why we love it:  Bob’s appeared on Food Network’s Diner’s, Drive-Ins and Dives
