Shaw’s Fish and Lobster Wharf – In New Harbor

Rustic and Real

Visit Shaw’s Wharf and you’re in for a true Maine experience.  Located just a little off the beaten path 60 miles north of Portland on the Pemaquid Peninsula, Shaw’s Wharf is in New Harbor – the scenic lobster village where Paul Newman and Kevin Costner filmed “Message in a Bottle”.

A rustic, salty lobster shack overlooking a working waterfront, Shaw’s Wharf offers the freshest lobster around.  Climb up to the second story deck, and watch local lobster fishermen unload their catch !   Shaw’s Wharf offers yummy lobster rolls made with “right off the boat” lobster meat, a hint of mayo and lemon. Worth the trip!

Why we love it:  Pull up a picnic table and enjoy steamed lobsters, clams and corn in the rough!
