The Shack Oyster Bar – Home of the Crobster Roll

The Shack Oyster Bar

The Shack Oyster Bar  is the antithesis of a greasy fish ‘n’ chips joint—all of its seafood is freshly shucked or steamed. The Crobster Roll is bursting with a creamy lobster and snow crab salad, heightened with fresh dill and mustard seed. This waterfront snack is perfect on a sunny day. Go to any Maritime fishing village and you’ll see the waterline inlets dotted with ruggedly built wharfs where fisherman tie up their boats. Small ragged shacks usually adorn these wharves. It’s where the fisherman store their gear, mend their nets, have a few drinks of rum when they get thirsty and cook up a pot of their catch when they get hungry. The owners have taken one of those shacks (fancied it up a bit) and placed it in a spot where everyone can enjoy the true simplicity of a fisherman’s catch.

Why we love it:  Innovative lobster rolls – like the Crobster!  Try the Black Point Oysters.
