The incredible views from most parts of the house (including the porch) are layered with history.   The area has long been home to the Kelsey family, with an on going boat building business next door to the B&B which has been in business since the 1930’s.  In earlier history, Kelsey Island across the small bay originally saw many schooners docking there with their loads of fish from the 1860’s to the 1910’s. Some of the original buildings from this family business are still in existence today and in use on the island as summer cottages online project management tools.  Come – relax and recharge.
