Biking and Boating Along the Connecticut Shoreline

Spectacular Scenery By Land and Sea!

First by bike, then by boat. Book the popular “Connecticut Shoreline Bike/Boat Tour” with CT Bike Tours and experience the Connecticut coast in a leisurely – yet active way! Start at the Guilford Green – about 25 minutes east of New Haven and cycle out to Sachem’s Head – once a vacation spot for 19th century New Yorkers. From there, you will meander to the lovely village of Stony Creek where you’ll board you’ll board the Volsunga IV for a scenic one hour narrated cruise of the charming Thimble Islands – once the hiding place of the infamous pirate Captain Kidd! If you’d like, CT Bike Tours will deliver your car to you in Stony Creek and and that’s where you tour ends. OR, you can bike 6 another miles to Guilford with the remaining group. On the way back, you’ll stop at the Henry Whifield House – the oldest existing home in Connecticut and the oldest stone home in all of New England!

Suitable for cyclists of all skill levels, this tour takes approximately 4 hours and covers 20 miles or so.   Now, that’s a weekend workout deserving of lobster!   We suggest making your over to the Guilford Lobster Pound for lobster roll (or two) and an ice cold drink.
